Why The Respectful Traveler?
The Respectful Traveler is part love letter to Anthony Bourdain (who cussed a lot just like me, - one of the remnants from my Navy days) and part plea to my fellow travelers that we have to change how we travel or there won’t be any genuine places left to travel.
My hope is to help you plan a trip to somewhere new that feels genuine to you, pushes your comfort zone a little, and helps you learn a little something about yourself.
